PROPOSED PLANS FOR NEW FACILITY

Our church membership, worshippers and those we serve are from the community, surrounding communities, neighboring counties, and from the eastern part of the state.  Our ministry has grown from 13 members to approximately 1,000 in two years. Sunday morning worship consist of two services, 9:00 am and 11:30 am. with an average attendance of 400 per service.  Worship Service will be added in July 2011 at 7: 30 am.  As we have witnessed an increased demand in our community through consistently increasing membership, we have also witnessed our facilities being stretched to their limit. We are running out of space at the existing facility for worship and to facilitate the many ministries that has grown out of need to serve the people.

We here at Greater Joy remain focused continuing Jesus’ efforts of restoring and comforting.  As we look to the future, being the Catalyst for the community, we will need to provide the avenue that will help all mankind.

We began our investment into this Capital Campaign on October 2010 and will pledge and donate until September 2011, for a total of 11 months.  However, there is an Extended Giving Plan included in the Capitol Campaign.   Under this plan, non-members, outside entities and/or family members can sow into this South Rocky Mount effort.
